TAWANG, Aug 31: Dube Dulom retired as the chief engineer of Public Works Department (PWD), North-West Zone, Tawang on his attaining the age of superannuation recently.
A farewell ceremony was organized in his honor at the CE’s office here on Friday, where colleagues and officials of the department praised his contributions to the state's infrastructure during his 37 years of service.
“CE Dulom's career, marked by dedication and significant contributions to the state's infrastructure, has left a lasting legacy,” an official said.
A native of Daporijo in Upper Subansiri district, Dulom completed his schooling from Government Higher Secondary School, Daporijo, and earned a B.Tech degree in engineering from Tripura Engineering College.
He joined the public works department as an assistant engineer on August 26, 1987, in Zone I, PWD, Mowb-II, and was later promoted to executive engineer in 1999. In March 2023, he was promoted to the post of chief engineer.
