YUPIA, Mar 29:

The district task force for immunization meeting for 2nd round IPPI (NID) 2017 was held at Yupia under the Chairmanship of T. Kaye, Deputy Commissioner cum Chairman, District Health Society, Papumpare District, Yupia. In his address, the chairman urged all the stakeholders to perform their tasks whole heartedly so as not to leave any child un-immunized. 
The DMO, Dr. Tasso Kampu in her address stressed on the importance to immunizing all the beneficiaries to achieve 100% immunization. The DRCHO, Dr. J. Ado in his power point presentation refreshed all members regarding all about the MI & IPPI. 
Further, feedback received from the state and national monitoring teams were discussed in detail so as to rectify the loopholes and to improve the performance.
Meanwhile District Tuberculosis Officer, Dr. PD Thongchi reminded the medical officers present on the occasion about the importance of awareness, early detection and treatment of TB patients and said that we need to give more stress on the prevention of MDRTB. 
The 2nd round IPPI will commence from April 2-7 next and MI-4 round 3 will be from the April 7-13 next.
