AALO, Dec 10: In a collaborative effort to address the dual challenges of drug abuse and to guide the youth towards meaningful careers, the Alumni Association of SFS college Aalo organized a one-day drug awareness cum career counselling at Angu Village, West Sing District today.
The programme was held under the leadership of Kappil Kamsi, the organising secretary in collaboration with Mother’s Vision, SFS College, Alumni Forum, All Angu Kamsi Students Union and all PRI members of Angu Village.
Kennedy Bagra of Mother's Vision NGO, threw light on the detrimental effects of drug abuse and the importance of community involvement in combating this social challenge. He further said that “Mother's Vision activities provide a firsthand look at the efforts being made to create awareness and support those affected by substance abuse."
The Alumni President, Kappil Kamsi shared valuable insights and experiences, inspiring the students to pursue paths that align with their passions and skills.
Asst. Professor Inkey Tayeng from SFS college, Kemmar Bagra Inspector Aalo police and Fr. Jose Karipadathu, Principal SFS College also spoke during the awareness programme.
