AALO, Nov 20: The 5th edition of District Level Football Tournament (Boys & Girls) got underway at Darka organised under the banner of the District Football Association.
Former minister Jarkar Gamlin and Nyomo Ete graced the tournament as chief juest and guest of honour respectively and exhorted players to maintain sportsman spirit during the whole tournament.
Er. Dege Likar, President DFA highlighted the number of participating teams and the main objective of the tournament. He also spoke about problems faced by the association in organising the event at the village level.
In the inaugural match Lekke Leyyi defeated Darka Sports Club by 2-0.
