PASIGHAT, Jul 17: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu accompanied by the CEO Smart City Dr. Manjuli Komut, EE (PWD) Tani Taki, contractor and others visited the under construction Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) School building at Pasighat on Wednesday. During the visit, the DC assessed the progress of the ongoing work and instructed the concerned executing agency (PWD) to ensure the timely completion of all pending works, including sanitary facilities for the washroom etc so that the school could start functioning within the scheduled time.
Taggu during inspection also instructed the executing agency to expedite the work and to maintain quality, ensuringsafety and durability of the building. The said school building is funded under Pasighat Smart City project. Taggu who is the Chairman of the Smart City project informed that several ongoing projects were progressing well in the City and would be dedicated to the general public timely.
