YINGKIONG, Oct 11: The Upper Siang district administration held a coordination meeting with officials and public to discuss prevailing issues affecting the district, in particular headquarters Yingkiong on Wednesday.
Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Hage Lailang said all ideas and suggestions put forth by officers and the public will be taken into account for better development of Upper Siang and Yingkiong township in particular.    
Wide range of issues pertaining to civic amenities like electricity, water supply , roads, public health and hygiene, cleanliness, drug menace and security were discussed in detail. 
Head of Departments highlighted activities done by their respective departments and sought public cooperation for smooth execution of developmental works.
The meeting was attended by  Superintendent of Police T Saring, ABK President Tadum Libang, ZPC Lumgeng Litin, all Head of Departments, Yingkiong Market Welfare Committee, APWWS, NGOs and citizens.
