PASIGHAT, Nov 1: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu today convened the monthly District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) cum e-Pragati meeting and chaired the meeting to review the physical and financial progress of works under different schemes and sponsored programs including all developmental and beneficiary oriented schemes being implemented in the district. The progress of each scheme was thoroughly evaluated, with DC Taggu urging officials to expedite implementation where necessary.
Member Secretary DPO Tatak Mibang, key officials including PD (DRDA), DD (ICDS), DDSE, DAO, DHO, DVO, engineers from PHE, Power (Elect & Transmission), UD & Housing, WRD, RWD, PWD (Highway), PMC, Smart City and other concerned departments were present in the meeting and briefed the chair about the current pace and progress including steps taken by them to achieve the target of 100 percent saturation of various schemes of the district.
While chairing the meeting, DC Taggu highlighted the importance of all government sponsored schemes and projects in propelling the ambitious development agenda forward. He directed all officers present to promptly present updated data adding that timely and efficient implementation was essential to ensure that the benefits reach the citizens as soon as possible. After taking a comprehensive review, Taggu directed the concerned functionaries to work with added zeal and synergy so that all the ongoing works are completed well within the fixed timeline. He further emphasized achieving saturation in all the designated indicators and exhorted to work in coordination and cohesion. He called for rigorous site supervision so that constant surveillance is maintained adding that quality of work shall never be compromised. DIPRO
