PASIGHAT, Feb 2: Chief Secretary Manish Kumar Gupta who is on a one day visit to East Siang today inspected the various projects implemented by the government departments and the Smart City Mission. Under the Smart City Mission, the CS visited the Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC), Pasighat Market Up-gradation project,  Recreation Centre at Gumin Nagar, Siang river front site, Solid Waste Management Plant and Smart Guest House taken up under Pasighat Smart City Development Corporation Ltd.(PSCDCL). 
The CS was accompanied by Chairman APSSB, Padmini Singla,Commissioner Health & Family Welfare, GoAP, Pawan Kumar Sain, Chairman PSCDCL cum DC Tayi Taggu,  SP, Pankaj Lamba, Commandant 5th IRBn , Garima , ADC Hq. Tatling Pertin , CEO Smart City Mission (PSCDCL) , Dr. Manjuli Komut , DAO Opang Moyong, DPO Tatak Mibang and HoDs among others.
While appreciating the work done under smart city mission, the Chief Secretary advised the Chairman cum DC and CEO to run the projects on self sustainable and revenue generating mode, for which he asked to start the necessary procedure at the earliest.
CS also visited Pasighat Sub-Jail to inspect the facilities and measures at place for inmates.  Later the CS visited the Oil Palm Plantation taken up under NMEO- OP of progressive farmer Miti Megu Perme  at 4- Mile Pasighat .
During his visit to Water Amusement Park at Bosididum,Pasighat funded under Deendayal Swavalamban Yojana(DDUSY) during 2023-24 , under the government initiative for unemployed youth for setting up start-up ventures in the state, the CS also interacted with the beneficiaries. DIPRO
