ITANAGAR, Oct 9: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged contractors of NH-415 Package B-
Papu Nalah to Nirjuli to deploy sufficient man and machineries to speed up the work progress.
The contractors have only deployed few men and machineries which is not deployed as per the project’s lengthand the few RCC culvert and RCC protection walls too are unattended since from last many
months, the association said adding that works can be easily taken up from Papu Nalah near Police station up to Niba Hospital smoothly but contractors failed to execute it.
AACWA has urged Chief Minister Pema Khandu who is holding the PWD portfolio to intervene in the matter and give necessary direction to concerned contractors to take up the work on urgent manner.
The contractors body said that the lone highway which connects the twin capital city Itanagar-Naharlagun is in worst condition and affects the government developments works.
It also pointed out that massive traffic jams are hurting government office functioning including school going children.
