Tawang, Nov 1: The Major Ralengnao 'Bob' Khathing Museum of Valour in Tawang, was inaugurated on October 31, coinciding with the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This commemorative event pays homage to Major Khathing, a visionary leader instrumental in securing India’s northeastern borders, and celebrates his enduring legacy.
The inauguration attended virtually by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Dignitaries in attendance included Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lt Gen KT Parnaik (Retd), Chief Minister  Pema Khandu, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju, Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh, and the family of Major Bob Khathing. This landmark museum will preserve and showcase the legacy of Major Khathing’s service and dedication to our nation.
