Longding, Oct 20: The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Scheme was launched by Deputy Commissioner Longding today which was organised by  Women and Child Development Department.
In the keynote address, the DC said that the main goal of BBBP Scheme was to celebrate the girl child, ensure her protection, education and participation in society. 
H Bangsia, in her presentation highlighted the role of District Task Force and also stressed on Action Plan for 2023-24 with the convergence department.
