AALO, Aug 2: West Siang Deputy Commissioner, Hage Mamu today chaired the district level monitoring committee to review the progress of Atma Nirbhar schemes.
The DC urged the Department of Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries and Animal husbandry to clear the beneficiaries loan process of 2022-2023. She also urged various bankers to expedite the loan process immediately so that beneficiaries can avail the schemes in time. She informed Lead Bank Manager Ranjan  Kalita to update the loan sanction figures to DHO, DVO, DAO and DFDO. Due to some technical reason the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank has released less loan amount. The DC directed the Lead Bank Manager to expedite the loan process urgently.
Due to the lengthy loan procedures of all the Banks, beneficiaries of various schemes could not receive their loan amount in time. Mamu informed the bankers  and departments to coordinate for speedy loan disbursement to beneficiaries.
West Siang ZPC, Tumpe Ete, during the meeting informed that many beneficiaries are yet to get their loan amount. He requested the Bankers to sanction and release the loan amount to all the beneficiaries of various schemes immediately. He also asked the implementing departments and bankers to inform his office for which the loan process was delayed. He also requested the bankers to follow the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India.
The DC informed the bankers and HoDs to open communication channel so that the loan process can be worked out swiftly.
During the meeting Prince Kumar, Asst. Commissioner West Siang, Marjum Karga DPO, BM SBI and Managers of various Banks attended the meeting.
