Tezu, Aug 5: An awareness program on the provisions of RTI Act 2005 and Hybrid Mode of Hearing and e-Filling of appeals & complaints for all FAAs, PIOs,RTI Activists, Stakeholders and interested citizens from Tirap, Changlang, Longding, Namsai, Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valley and Lohit Districts was conducted today by the The Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission Itanagar in collaboration with Lohit District Administration at Conference Hall, District Secretariat, Tezu.
While welcoming the members in the program, APIC Deputy Registrar Maman Padung highlighted the objectives of the awareness program and the reason of opting hybrid mode of hearing and e-filing of appeals and complaints.
The APIC computer programmer Bharati Yun and Himanshu Verma, IT consultant imparted training with live demonstration on the recently launched hybrid mode of hearing & e-Filing of appeals and complaint.
Lohit Deputy Commissioner Shashvat Saurabh extended heartfelt gratitude to the Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission for the initiative to reach the unreached by conducting awareness program on the hybrid mode of hearing and e-filing of appeals and complaint and appealed to all to take full advantage of the training.
State Information Commissioner, Adv Khopey Thaley thoroughly enlightened the parameters on the various relevant sections of RTI Act 2005 with real life examples and court judgement.
State Chief Information Commissioner, Rinchen Dorjee explained various section of RTI Act 2005 with day to day examples and urged all the stakeholders to be more responsible officers as well as citizens. Further, he informed that, this hybrid mode is the first of its kind to enhance ease of hearing of cases and promote greater transparency and accountability with less delay in the process.
