Namsai, Jun 1: The Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) celebrated its 12th foundation day here today.
Pro-Chancellor and MD, Vishva Lochan who was the chief guest in his address said that it took a lot of effort to bring up the university here. He shared his experiences through the journey of the university thus far.
Prof. Ajith Kumar K. Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) reminisced over how the university evolved through 12 years of operations and the founders had laid emphasis on creating state-of-the-art infrastructure and providing quality education right from the beginning.
18 faculty members and 36 non-teaching staff members were felicitated for serving the university for more than 10 and 5 years. HN Dubey, Director (PR) and Vipin Rawat, Deputy Registrar, also spoke on the occasion.
