ITANAGAR, Nov 30: An online draw for the grouping of teams qualified for the ensuing final round of 77th Santosh Trophy 2023-24 was organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
A total of 12 teams have qualified for the final round including last edition's winner Karnataka, runner up Meghalaya and host Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh was drawn in Group A alongside its Northeastern counterparts Meghalaya and Assam, Goa, Services and Kerala. The final round is scheduled to be held in February - March 2024 at Yupia and Naharlagun.  
Kipa Ajay, Honorary Secretary, APFA attended the virtual meeting on behalf of the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association.
In his message, Ajay congratulated all the qualifying teams of the final round and extended a warm welcome to Arunachal Pradesh. He further informed that being the host, APFA with the help of the state government has been working tirelessly to ensure the event is successful as well as a memorable one.
