Khandu inaugurates Arunachal Niwas, fourth facility in New Delhi

ITANAGAR, Oct 24: Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti is all set to host the All India Chess Championship under 34th National Sports Festival, at Abotani Vidya Niketan Pachin Colony from October 26 to 30 next. The Championship is organised by the Samiti under the aegis of Vidya Bharti Sports Council affiliated to the School Games Federation of India(SGFI).
Over 350 school students and over 100 officials and escorts from across the country will participate in the championship. Winners from this tournament will participate at the international event.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu is expected to attend the inaugural programme on October 27 while Arunachal Pradesh Governor will attend the concluding event.
Meanwhile, addressing a review meeting for the preparation of the said game, Tai Tagak, Chairman Organising Committee urged all the members to work sincerely and with dedication for smooth and successful conduct of the championship.
