Itanagar, Jul 25: The Minister for Agriculture, Gaberial D. Wangsu informed the house that the State is for the first time going to have Agriculture Policy. The policy will address the concerns and problems of agriculture in the State. It will involve professional experts and scientists to form and formulate the policy. The policy will mainly rope in the young farmers to motivate them in agri-based business. Wangsu was replying to MLA Kumar Waii regarding reclaim and development of wasteland in the state.
The Minister also clarified that there was no wasteland in the state as of today while answering to another supplementary question by the INC member.
