ITANAGAR, Oct 27: A 3-day workshop under Mission Youth called, ‘The Platform: Avenues, Opportunities & Self Employment’ organised by Arunachal Photography Club in collaboration with the Department of Youth Affairs kicked off today at D.K.Auditorium, Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
MLA, Boleng-Pangin, Ojing Tasing and ADC Itanagar Capital Region, Shweta Nagarkoti graced the event as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Participants numbering over a hundred attended the Day 1 technical session which held discussions and interactions on different topics by various panelists.
The topics covered on the day one were Panel Discussion on 'Agri & Allied sectors including Bamboo Resource Development: Sustainable Livelihood & beyond' by Agriculture Department, Gunu Linggi ; Agripreneur and Dr G. Murtem; SFRI, panel discussion on Film making: An art, a passion and profession with Tai Gungte, Filmmaker and How to become a successful blogger with Lily Maying (MNO).
Lauding the initiative of the photography club, Nagarkoti urged the youths to take advantage of the platform for a sustainable livelihood. Tasing highlighted various schemes of the present BJP government under the leadership of CM Pema Khandu and appealed to the students to lead a productive and self sustainable life.
Secy SYA, SJETA Abu Tayeng along with Spl Secy AP Legislative Assembly Pema Norbu Thongchi were also present among others.
