Aalo, Aug 6: Local military authorities in Aalo town, West Siang District conducted a week-long self-defense capsule for girls. Renowned military instructors imparted specialized training to over 130 local girls substantially augmenting their confidence and endowing them with vital self-defense skills.
This initiative sought to empower the young individuals to proficiently protect themselves in various contingencies. Such endeavors not only promote physical fitness and self-reliance but also bridge the civil-military chasm, concurrently inspiring the youth towards a career in the Indian Armed Forces, the Army said in a statement.
The event, commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas, accentuated the necessity of self sufficiency and vigilance, leaving an indelible mark on the community.
