Itanagar, Jan 23: Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society has appreciated the Itanagar Police for apprehending the accused in the Akashdeep twin murder case – Majibur Rahman alias Atabur Rahman, after an 11-year-old manhunt. The Society appreciated SP Rohit Rajbir Singh and his team for their meticulous work leading to the arrest of the proclaimed fugitive wanted in connection with a heinous crime involving the rape and murder of two sisters after eleven years of his escape from jail. We appeal to the police for continuous vigilance so that such crimes never happen again in the state, said President APWWS, Kani Nada Malling.
