Itanagar, Jun 21: The Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society (APWWS) has lauded the state government for its proactive decision to introduce Pink Patrolling with advanced PCR vehicle dedicated to enhancing women’s safety. This initiative marks a significant step forward in ensuring a secure environment for women across the state. The introduction of these advanced PCR vehicle specifically designated for Pink Patrolling, addresses safety concerns and provides swift responses to any incidents, it said.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu recently expressed his commitment to enhancing women’s safety and promoting gender equality in Arunachal Pradesh. This commitment brings positive hope to the women of the state. Chief Minister Khandu shared that Team Arunachal Pradesh will amplify efforts to strengthen Pink Patrolling with PCR (Police Control Room) vehicles as part of ongoing measures to enhance women’s safety and gender equality.Giving the best of governance to our communities is an article of faith for us, the APWWS said in a statement.
The Society is optimistic that the state government will continue to prioritize the welfare of women and children, implementing more such progressive measures and bringing significant positive changes in their lives.
