ITANAGAR, Aug 20:  The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) organized a felicitation program today to honour the winner and consolation prize recipients of the APPSC Logo Design Competition. The ceremony took place at the APPSC Conference Hall, celebrating the creativity and talent of the participants who took part in the contest.
The competition announced on June 27 this year invited creative minds from across the state to design a logo that would embody the purpose, values, and essence of the APPSC. A special link, "LOGO DESIGN CONTEST," was provided on the official APPSC website for submissions. The contest garnered significant attention, with a total of 150 designs submitted.
A panel of judges, chaired by the Chairman of APPSC, Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Lingfa, meticulously evaluated the entries. After careful consideration, the winning design, created by Grace Songlong, was selected for its ability to truly capture the spirit of the Commission. Songlong was awarded a certificate and a cash prize of ₹20,000/- by the Commission.
Additionally, two designs were recognized for their outstanding creativity and were selected for consolation prizes. Genom J and Khowang Hakhun each received a certificate and a cash award of ₹5,000/-.
During the felicitation ceremony, Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Lingfa congratulated the winners and highlighted the significance of the winning design, which will now be officially adopted as the APPSC's logo. He expressed his gratitude to all 150 participants for their dedication, intelligence, and passion in creating their designs.
Emphasizing the importance of skill development among the youth and the "Vocal for Local" initiative, the Chairman shared that the Logo Design Competition was organized to provide a platform for the skilled and talented youth of Arunachal Pradesh to showcase their abilities. He encouraged the participants to maintain their competitive spirit and to continue participating in such opportunities.
