ITANAGAR, Feb 7: The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) has raised concerns over two significant issues: the allegations against the Director of TRIHMS and the ongoing land dispute involving former ANYA president, Byabang Joram.
In a press conference, ANYA leaders called for unbiased investigations into both matters, urging authorities to ensure transparency and justice. The association emphasized the importance of addressing these issues with fairness, highlighting their unwavering commitment to protecting public interest.
ANYA President Jamru Ruja condemned any attempts to portray the issue as a communal one. "This is a matter between Byabang Joram and Dr. Moji Jini, not a conflict between any community or the medical fraternity," Ruja clarified, urging the public to refrain from attributing a communal angle to the incident.
He also strongly criticized the Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) for their statement alleging that Byabang Joram demanded a ransom. "Such a statement is deeply derogatory, especially coming from such a responsible organization that too against the former leader of a community-based youth organization," Ruja said, warning that ANYA would consider taking action if CoSAAP refuses to retract the statement.
Additionally, Ruja expressed discontent with Dr. Moji Jini’s use of the terms "demands and extortion" in his letter to the Chief Minister. “Mr. Joram is simply asking for compensation for his land inside TRIHMS as assured by the authority. His actions are borne from frustration and are not directed at any community or profession,” he explained.
Ruja emphasized the need for a fair, impartial investigation and suggested that the government remove the Director from the process due to potential conflicts of interest. “A sitting judge or retired should also be assigned to oversee the investigation to ensure fairness,” he added.
