On the eve of monsoon, a meeting on disaster preparedness chaired by DC Remo Kamki was held here today. In action, plan and strategic measures were prepared to deal with any type of disaster ensuring proper stocking and management of food grains, medicines etc.

The DC also asked the SDO (T) to improve the landline services with Broadband installation.

DDMO T Tashi briefed on the status of functioning of control room, incidence response system, evacuation, search & rescue team, identification of safe centres etc.
