Jang, Jun 8: The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jang, Hakraso Kri called a meeting of all the heads of school under Jang sub divisional administration to review the academic performance of schools. The meeting was chaired by Zila Parishad Chairperson,Tawang, Leki Gombu and attended by the school development and management committee chairmans and head of schools of almost all the primary, upper primary, secondary and higher secondary schools functioning under Jang sub divisional administration from Mago-Luguthang in Indo tibet border to Bongleng in Indo Bhutan border.
In his address to the house present ZPC Tawang Leki Gombu asked the schools to increase enrollment by finding out the left out children in their villages and encourage the parents to send their children to government schools where every facility from sanitary napkin, free uniform textbook and Midday-meal are provided. ZPC also assured the schools for upgradation of school infrastructure if needed.
Additional Deputy Commissioner,Jang Hakraso Kri said that we have very good infrastructure in every government school with qualified and trained teachers but the outcome is not satisfactory. He asked the teachers to work more dedicatedly to win the confidence of parents. Teachers are nation builders and we have lots of expectations from you he added while addressing to the teachers.
Later the meeting was kept open inviting suggestions from Teachers,School Heads and SMDC Chairmans for improvement of government schools under Jang Sub divisional Administration in academic as well as other improvements.
The meeting concluded with formation of a structural monitoring committee wherein, the
village education committee (VEC) at the village level which already exist will now be monitored by circle level education committee (CLEC) headed by concerned administrative officers and all kinds of leaves of teachers will be routed through the concerned EACs or COs. At the sub division level "Sub divisional education committee " was formed involving government officers and ZPMs to oversee the overall scenario of education in the sub division including both welfare of students and teachers.
