ITANAGAR, Nov 25: Zone 4 qualifiers of XVII Tadar Tang State Level Football Championship got underway today at Nyapin, Kurung Kumey.Total Five districts; Kurung Kumey, Lower Subansiri, Kra Daadi, Upper Subansiri and Kamle are participating in the qualifying round. Inaugural match was played between last year's runner up Lower Subansiri and host Kurung Kumey which ended in a goalless draw.
In the second match of the day, Upper Subansiri defeated Kra Daadi 1-0.
Tania Nibe of Upper Subansiri scored the decider for his team in the 25th minute of the first half. Despite many attempts, Kra Daadi failed to score and eventually lost the match..
