ZIRO, Sep 16: Ziro is expected to reap a bumper Kiwi harvest as per the Inspection reports of the expert team comprising of Gyati Loder, Secretary , Kiwi Gardens Cooperative Society (KGCS), Komri Murtem, DHO, Pura Obing, HDO and members of KGCS .
The expert team visited the kiwi gardens in and around Ziro on Sunday. They attributed the bumper harvest this year to the scientific cultivatIon management adopted by the farmers coupled with favourable climatic conditions during pollination and fruit setting time.
During the inspection DHO Komri Murtem distributed gardening tools to the farmers.
