ROING, Sep 23: Deputy Commissioner, Lower Dibang Valley Mitali Namchoom, inaugurated the Roing Youth Library in presence of ADC Cheshta Yadav, teachers and students today. The library has been sponsored by the District Administration for the youths of the district.
The DC stressed on inculcating reading habit beyond the prescribed syllabus and to improve one’s language skills. Whatever subject or profession you’re following, you need wide reading to evolve as a good human being, she said appealing local NGOs to join hands to promote reading habit among the students.
Library provides a ready platform for the common people to come across a variety of ideas and ideologies, essential for their mental growth, said ADC Cheshta Yadav while appealing the school teachers and parents to encourage students to make good use of the library and free reading room facilities.
