BOMDILA, Jan 28: The District Youth Parliament was conducted today at Government College Bomdila by the NSS Unit headed by Programme Officer T L Minto.
The District Youth Parliament so conducted was a follow-up programme to the National Youth Parliament Festival held from January 17-19 initiated by the Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of India.
Speaking on the role of youths in a democratic set up, Principal S Khandu opined that such endeavors would go a long way in strengthening the fabric of democracy.
The mock Parliament saw massive participation of college students and faculty members besides participation of senior students from the GHSS Bomdila. DIPRO
