NAHARLAGUN, Jul 6:Young innovator of the state Tadar Anang was accorded a rousing welcome on his arrival at Naharlagun Railway station this morning by well wishers, family and friends.
Anang is returning from South Africa after attending the 3rd BRICS Young Scientist Forum at Durban, South Africa where he also won the award of most “promising young innovator”.
Meanwhile, sharing his experience, Anang said it has been a privilege to participate in the event representing his home state and the country.
“I was among the 10 participants from all over the BRICS countries and it was really tough for me to compete against the established companies and other multi-million dollar companies,” he informed.
Anang also extended his sincere thanks to the Department of Science and Technology Parliamentary Secretary Tapuk Taku, Chairman Bamang Mangha, Director CD Mungyak National Innovation Foundation, National institute of advance studies, Bengaluru for their support.
He also remembered the support extended by Minister Bamang Felix, Itanagar Science curator Dr. Vivek Kumar during his stay in South Africa.
