ITANAGAR, Feb 8: The first National Lok Adalat of 2020 was conducted today by various District Legal Services Authorities of Arunachal Pradesh along with the rest of India under the guidance of Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority.
A total of 569 pre-litigation cases including bank recovery and other cases were listed, out of which 32 were disposed off with a settlement amount of Rs.20,85,668 and 156 pending cases including criminal compoundable, bank recovery, matrimonial dispute, MACT, civil and other cases were listed, out of which 34 were disposed off with a settlement amount of Rs. 2,67,012.
The aforesaid National Lok Adalat was conducted by the District & Sessions Courts of Pasighat, Tezu, Bomdila & Khonsa, Addl. District & Sessions Court, Basar, Chief Judicial Magistrates of Yupia, Pasighat, Aalo, Roing, Seppa & Ziro and Judicial Magistrates First Class of Tawang, Yingkiong, Longding, Namsai, Changlang and Koloriang.
