ITANAGAR, Dec 9: In a proud moment for the state, Wushu players participating in the recently concluded Junior National Wushu Championship (boys & girls) at Namakkai, Taminadu brought laurels to the state by winning 8 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze in different categories.
The medals bagged by the state Wushu team include 2 gold medals each by Mercy Ngaimong  in Chanquan and Gunshu event, Nyemen Wanghsu in Daoshu & Spear and in Taijiquan & Taichijan by Mepung Lamgu.
Onilu Tega and Taug Ama won 1 gold medal each in below 52kg and 60 kg category. In Jiangsu and Qiangshu event, Yorna Roshni secured two silver medals and Realu Boo clinched silver in Taichi event.
Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy, Coach, M Premchandra Singh led the team with Techi Juna as the manager.
