TAWANG, Jun 14 : World Blood Donor Day was observed today  here at Tawang Old Market  with  the organisation of blood donation camp by Environmental Protection Society, an NGO in collaboration with Khadro Drowa Tsangmu District Hospital.
Keeping in tune with this year’s theme ‘Safe Blood For All’ the camp also adopted the inspirational slogan ‘Rakt Dan Karke Dekho, Achcha Lagta Hai'.18 units of various blood groups were collected during the camp and  nutritious refreshments were provided to the donors.
DMO Tawang Dr.Wangdi Lama encouraged all blood donors and requested everyone to continue with this noble cause. Earlier Blood Bank Officer Tawang Dr. Tenzin Gyaltsen elaborated on the importance of blood donation. DIPRO
