Deomali, Jun 3: A national level online workshop on ‘ICT based Teaching, Learning & Evaluation’ was organised on Wednesday by the IQAC of Wangcha Rajkumar Government College here.
Delivering a special talk on the topic, Associate Professor of English & Secretary, English Forum of Karnataka University Dr Gurunath Badiger opined that conventional teaching should be changed into technology-enabled classrooms in the context of the changing scenario created by Covid-19 pandemic. Dr Badiger while explaining the need for updating teaching and learning skills informed the attending teachers that use of technology could make teaching more interesting and meaningful and the tools namely Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Sheets etc are helping teachers to conduct tests and surveys with better accuracy and speed. He also explained the online teaching platforms like Google Meet, Hangout, Cisco Webex etc. 
Principal, WRGC Dr Tasi Taloh appreciated the initiative and suggested to conduct more such creative programmes. Coordinator of IQAC Dr Vineeta Dowerah and seminar convener & NAAC Coordinator of the college Chayon Bangyang spoke on the occasion.
More than 60 participants from across the country attended the programme online and provided encouraging feedbacks. DIPRO
