ZEMITHANG, Apr 13:The three day long workshop on Conservation Tourism and Homestay Hospitality organized by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with World Pheasant Society of India (WPSI), Association for Conservation & Tourism (ACT) and Arunachal Pradesh Society for Education & Development (APSED) successfully concluded today.
 
The entire course aimed to enhance knowledge and strengthen opportunities for stakeholders to benefit from sustainable tourism by developing communication capacities of the trainees, understanding tourists, Homestay management etc. 
 
Thirty five trainees from six villages such as Kharman, Muchut, Zemithang, Kalengten, Taktsang and Shoktsen participated.
 
Resource person, Dr.Anwaruddin Chowdhury explained the trainees about the unique Red Panda and Pheasant habitat and imparted practical training in bed making, cleaning, toilet cleaning and table layout etc.
