KHARSANG, Mar 5: Galo Language Development Committee (GLDC) of Galo Welfare Society conducted one day workshop on Galo Script at Donyi-Polo village Kharsang in Changlang district recently. DDSE Changlang, Hortum Loyi, in his keynote admired the effort undertaken by the GLDC to teach Galo Language. Dr. Takop Zirdo, Chairman, GLDC spoke on introduction and evolution of Galo Script. He narrated in detail the genesis of the script and its implementation as third language from Class-VI to VIII in schools of Galo inhabited areas.
