ITANAGAR, Jul 13: A one-day workshop cum sensitisation programme on the theme “Preventing Teen Substance abuse” was conducted for students of Government secondary School,  NIrjuli by an NGO, One Stop Centre(OSC) supported by Ministry  of Women & Child Development, Government of India.

About eighty students benefitted from the workshop where in various resource persons delivered speeches on Drug Abuse among youngsters, and its prevention.   Besides, a legal aid clinic was also set up as a part of the programme to make students aware  of provisions under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005 and POCSO Act by trainee social workers.
