PASIGHAT, Jul 16: The Adi Art & Culture Academy (AACA) based here in Pasighat is conducting a free workshop on fine visual arts, modelling, various dance forms, fashion designing, DJ crashing & sound designing, photography etc in and around Pasighat  for the students of KGBV Pasighat, Yagrung and Banggo Academy which started from July 11 and will continue till the 20th.

 

The ongoing workshop is an initiative of Adi Arts & Culture Academy, Pasighat in association with Saurav Rajbongshi, a music director par excellence and winner of best music for Rhythm of Brahmaputra at Argentina Music Festival. The objective of the workshop is to promote upcoming raw talents hidden in various schools of East Siang District so as to promote them to a higher platform in their respective talents.

The team comprising experts from various fields like Guwahati based model and fashion choreographer Femina Miss India finalists & Runner up of Gladrags super model, Miss Sukalpa Das who is spearheading the modelling workshop and Miss Pallavi Talukdar, an Assamese movie/music videos wardrobe designer is gearing up the workshop on fashion designing. The expert duo of Diplu Das, a visual arts specialist and Tulon Das, Director of Glamour factory and Principal of Amazing Art School, Guwahati are scouting for talents in Fine Arts and Photography. And the amazing duo of Uday Shankar, a renowned Assamese film choreographer and Director of Jhankar Dance studio, Guwahati and Vijay Das, a dance choreographer in number of Assamese movies are brewing raw talents in dance. While, DJ crashing and sound designing is being taught by Abhishek and the whole team of experts are being assisted by Jewel Rajbongshi, a musician who has been a regular at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai.

“This is for the first time that Pasighatians are seeing a workshop of such depth and magnitude benefitting hundreds of students giving them firsthand experience in the field of mentioned domains. The students from other schools and colleges of East Siang District should get the benefits conferred by AACA”, said Jobomchang Mengu, the coordinator of the expert team who are dedicatedly giving free expert services for the benefits of the raw talents of the district.

The first of its kind free workshop for the students here is being conceptualized by Nepthely Megu, who is a revered Singer and Musician of Adi community.
