LUMDUNG, Apr 17:A total of 108 villagers benefitted from a two day long workshop on Community Based Tourism (CBT) being organized under the aegis of District Tourism Officer, Taluk Sonam at Lumdung under Seppa from April 14 to 16.
The workshop aimed to enhance local community participation in tourism to develop the area into a new tourism destination and especially to connect the popular Bomdila-Tawang tourist circuit from Itanagar through Papu Valley.
The entire course aimed to enhance knowledge and strengthen opportunities for stakeholders to benefit from sustainable tourism by developing communication capacities of the trainees, understanding tourists, housekeeping etc.
