Doimukh, Oct 1: A one day workshop on the theme ‘What’s Beyond B.A.’ was organized by the Career Counselling Cell of Government College Doimukh.
Secretary Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Dr. Madhu Rani Teotia, who was the Chief Guest highlighted the provisions of granting one-time financial support to those aspirants who qualify in UPSC Civil Services Examination from Arunachal Pradesh. She encouraged the students to think bigger and work harder adding that those who clear Prelims are given Rs. 2,00,000 and each of the Arunachalee aspirant who is finally selected gets Rs. 5,00,000 from GoAP. Commandant I.T.B.P. Yupia L.T. Suanthang was the Guest of Honour who spoke about the job opportunities available in military and paramilitary forces. Coordinator, Career Counselling Cell, Dr. D.K Jha highlighted the job opportunities that are available after Graduation. Earlier, Principal Dr. M.Q. Khan discussed about various employment opportunities available after completion of B.A. and exhorted students to choose their career carefully keeping in mind of aptitude and interest in order to get job satisfaction as well as to contribute to the development of the state more effectively.
