Khonsa, Dec 3: Directorate of Research, Itanagar organized a ‘Workshop Cum Training & Awareness Programme on Preservation and Conservation of Museum Specimen/Cultural Artefacts’ here at the District Research office on December 2-3.
DRO Khonsa Mary Gibi highlighted the importance of preservation and conservation of museum specimen/cultural artefacts and urged the students to preserve traditional specimens in their respective houses, villages and also abroad. ADC Khonsa Jalash Pertin added that such awareness programmes will help in inspiring students and scholars to get interested in the preservation initiatives. Resource Persons-Assistant Curator from Changlang B. Boruah, Keeper N. Roy and Lab Assistant from J.N State Museum A. Dutta imparted training to the teachers and students.
