TAWANG, Jul 3: A workshop on ‘Capacity Building’ for SMDC, PRI teachers and students of various blocks of Tawang  district  was  organised at different venues on July 2-3.
The first day of the workshop was meant for Jang-Mogto and Thingbu blocks and was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School Jang on July 2 organized by ISSE(Samagra Shiksha Society) Tawang. In the second day, SDMC, PRI teachers and students of Tawang block assembled today at the auditorium of Government Higher Secondary Tawang. EAC(Hqts) Tawang Sang Khandu, DDSE Tawang Hridhar Phuntsok, President Monpa Mimang Tshogpa(MMT) Rinchen Dorjee, public and student leaders also attended the workshop.
Various problems of the schools were placed by SMDC members of their respective schools, with active participation by the parents and students in deliberations. President MMT and EAC spoke about the role of teachers as well as parents and students to make the quality of education better. DDSE Tawang besides appealing the students to be good human beings, exhorted  the teachers to be more sincere in their duties and work collectively for the development of society. DIPRO
