3rd Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav connects with youth
WAKKA, Nov 8: The inaugural function of Bead Making & Basic Computer Training program for women was held on November 6 at Wakka in Longding district.
Captain Dorjee Sherpa, 16th Assam Rifles Wakka and former ZPM Wakka, Matpho Kolong attended the program along with other dignitaries.
The training in bead making will be provided to the women of 10 villages of Wakka Circle for next couple of months. The computer training will be provided in Government Higher Secondary School.
At least 300 women from different villages of the circle attended the session.
Training program under Border Area Development Programme is organized by District Administration Longding, sponsored by Ministry of Home Affairs (Border Management) Government of India in collaboration with Shungkuh Wancho Women Welfare Society (Swwws) Pongchau-Wakka cum Skill Development Institute.
