Itanagar, Mar 19: A mini  marathon   to spread the message of the importance of physical and mental well-being of a mother and her    role in human life was organised today   by the District Cell,Yupia, Papum Pare.  
The marathon, arranged   in coordination with Itanagar Urban ICDS project is a part of the campaign 'Suposhit   Janani Vikshit   Dharini' under Pradhan   Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana(PMMVY) which witnessed a participation of 25 women and adolescent girls with the message ‘Strong Women, Strong Nation.’
The programme was flagged off by the Director, Women and Child Development department  from Richi village point, Jollang. DIPRO
