Boleng, Jul 10: An Orientation and Convergence Programme on Mahila Kisaan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana (MKSY) under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) was held here on July 9 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Siang district Rajeev Takuk.
DC while appreciating the efforts of the Siang district ArSLM team for working dedicatedly with a missionary zeal in the face of various exigencies urged all stakeholders to ensure proper linkages and work in tandem as a cohesive unit to realise the goals of NRLM and facilitate women towards a sustainable livelihood.
A detailed PPT on NRLM, structure of Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) and report on BMMU-Pangin was given by Cluster Coordinator Pangin Jose Guria. PPTs on BMMU Rumgong and BMMU Riga were also given.
BMM Pangin, John Pertin  gave the PPT on MKSP and appealed for greater convergence of all allied departments to attain the laid out objectives. A video reference on Siang Ane Gidum, a congregation of over 5000 members of Women SHGs from around 6 districts of the state which was held at Yingkiong was also screened on the occasion. 
ADC (HQ) Liyi Bagra, ADC Rumgong Tuli Gangkak, HoDs, officers from allied departments of DRDA, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Industries, Textiles, Forests etc, Block Managers and staff of ArSLM from the district and member participants from various Women Self Help Groups attended the programme.
