ITANAGAR, Jun 8: Members of State BJP Mahila Morcha, Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal (IFCSAP) and Confederation of Service Association of Arunachal (CoSAAP) called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu here today on separate occasions to congratulate him for his second term as CM. 
Speaking to members of Mahila Morcha that consisted mainly of district presidents, CM said women cadre are the main pillar of the strength of the BJP party.
He said due to their effort, the BJP party has its reach in every corner of Arunachal. He also said the state government has prioritized women welfare and said that the first file to be signed in his present tenure as CM was for maternity leave for women contractual and contingency employee of state government.
Speaking to members of IFCSAP, Chief Minister acknowledged the contribution of the organization towards preservation of local culture. 
Also meeting the members of CoSAAP, Chief Minister thanked the fraternity of government  employees for continuously supporting the government in its work towards welfare of people. He assured all support to the employee community and sought their further and continued cooperation. CMO
