Aalo, Jun 21: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi on Sunday reviewed the district’s Covid-19 Containment Plan with the magistrates, police, Nodal Officers, Medical department and other members of the District Health Society (DHS) here at the DC’s Conference Hall. 
Reviewing the plan, DC said that since there are no medicines or vaccines for coronavirus, controlling its transmission is the only option left and Team West Siang is engaged right from the beginning in the containment mission. While exhorting the district’s Covid-19 warriors to keep up the current tempo, DC through an advisory order has also asked the police, magistrates and Nodal Officers to look into the welfare of truck drivers engaged in essential duties and urged all the heads of offices to install sanitizers at the entry points of their respective offices.
DMO Dr Moli Riba gave a detailed deliberation on the plans being drawn at various levels. DSO Dr Jombom Kato dwelt at length on the containment plan, contact tracing and awareness. In-charge of the Awareness Plan, Dr. Jumge Padu elaborated on RRT through a PowerPoint Presentation. Suggestions were also given by the magistrates, police and other members of the DHS. DIPRO
