Aalo, Jul 6: As a mark of respect to late Sangpuia Tayo, the frontline Covid warrior who died while on duty in a fatal road accident on Saturday last, the All Arunachal Pradesh Government Drivers’ Association, Arunachal Pradesh Doctors’ Association-West Siang Unit, Aalo Town People’s Welfare and Development Society, district’s frontline Covid workers and various NGOs arranged a condolence gathering on Monday here at the General Hospital.
Representatives of all the associations lit candles and observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul. DMO, Dr. Moli Riba expressing remorse at the tragic incident said it is the moral duty of all to stand by the side of Tayo’s family at this hour of grief. Secretary ATPWDS Kirdo Ete and President AAPGDA West Siang Kirjum Sora urged the state government to look into the welfare of his family.
Awareness In-charge for Covid-19, West Siang Dr. Jumge Padu who coordinated the condolence programme said all stakeholders of the battle against Covid-19 must throw a united challenge and motivate each other in the ongoing efforts. DIPRO
