Aalo, Jul 11: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi has issued an advisory directing the inter-district returnees entering the district to go for compulsory home quarantine as a measure to check the spread of Covid-19.
The advisory comes at a time when positive cases in the state has crossed 300 within a short time and is aimed at shielding West Siang from the Covid onslaught. The DC has appealed to the citizens of the district to follow all the regulatory measures like plying of vehicles on odd-even basis, maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks etc.
Keeping in view the havoc created by the ongoing monsoon, the DA has also appealed to the district’s citizens to take utmost caution and avoid venturing to riversides and landslide-prone areas. DIPRO
