AALO, Apr 15: The West Siang District Election Officer imparted the fifth and final round of election training for polling officials ahead of polling day on April 19 next at Aalo on Monday.
ADO i/c Nodal officer training, Jumdo Jini and his team imparted training on procedure for filling up of election form, hands-on training on EVM & VVPAT, while also addressing doubts and queries.
The West Siang District Magistrate Mamu Hage, has imposed 144 CrPC in the interest of maintaining peace, tranquillity and public order during election period from April 15 till completion of election process. Gathering or assembly of more than 4 people from 8pm to 6 am in the entire district of West Siang has been prohibited including carrying of lethal weapons that can cause or incite violence within the district.
